Service Description

Run by Mindfulness teacher Jessica (and assisted by Ms Crawford). Each session will include periods of movement, stillness and participation in activities. Over the course of ten weeks, they will learn: *breathing techniques using fingers, toys, and other accessories *sensory activities *movement practices *developing strategies for worry *learning about their amazing brains *compassion focused activities (to learn about kindness to ourselves and others) *creative activities like doodle art and making mandalas   Mindfulness, compassion and breathing practices encourage emotional regulation and improve the awareness of the mind/body connection, which promotes physical and emotional wellbeing.
