Music & Wellbeing
Combining music with wellbeing techniques enhances mental and physical health. Music therapy uses the connection between music and emotions to manage stress, improve mood, and alleviate anxiety and depression. Techniques like mindfulness, guided imagery, and deep breathing are more effective with soothing music, which aids relaxation and focus.. Integrating music into wellbeing practices offers a holistic approach to nurturing both mind and body, whilst making them accessible and fun.
Jessica is working on some public events to merge the wellbeing with the music. Follow @northernjessydj and @coachyourselfbetter on Insta. She is also studying the Exercise to Music qualification to be able to create workshops that incorporate movement safely and to develop a novel class that people will love - even those who don't like exercising!
All her workshops in the Corporate Wellbeing space feature music in different ways, which differentiates her programmes from run of the mill sessions.
